THIS IS "HOW I WORK" BLOGATHON

I occasionally receive emails from readers who want to know what programs I'm using or they're curious about how I work. So I have taken inspiration from the "How I Work" and "What's in My Bag" series' over a LifeHacker.com. I know that my blogger peeps post a lot about movies, television, and many other pop culture phenoms, but I would love more insight as to how my fellow bloggers work! What makes you tick, what programs and apps do you use, etc?

This is my first blogathon. I have never ever done this before! It's a little non-traditional in the sense that it is not focused on entertainment per se, but on the bloggers themselves. This blogathon is open to any and all types of bloggers. Please answer as few or as many of  the following questions as you see fit. If you'd like, please post a photo that you feel fits "YOU" and what you do. Photo is optional. Deadline is Tuesday, July 20th. Please sign up through the linky list after the "Read More" jump below. Thanks. Email me or tweet me when your entry is ready. Thanks!

X-FILES SNEAK PEEK, "FANNIBAL" HOPE, CRAPPY TRAILERS, + ANTMAN DOUBTS

I am rewatching the 'X-Files' on Netflix in preparation for the'X-Files' (albeit brief) return in January. Admittedly I'm skipping the episodes I didn't like, which thankfully are few and far between. It really takes me back to my young teen and early college years. Nine years of television was a really long time. Perhaps it's the nostalgia that I'm holding on to. I don't know, but I'm obsessed with all things 'X-Files' right now. Check out EW's site for more set photos.

TO DELETE OR NOT TO DELETE,? KILLJOYS THE NEXT FIREFLY,? THOUGHTS ON THE ALL-FEMALE GHOSTBUSTERS,? TOO MUCH JURASSIC CRAP + MORE

I was recently inspired to clean up my blog and delete old posts after reading articles over at Nose Graze and Elembee. I was always one of those people in the camp of "NEVER" deleting old posts. I wanted other bloggers to see my blogging evolution over the years, no matter how embarrassing. However, their articles made me curious. My blog was originally a place I posted random rants, and my love of film. When I started reviewing all of my old work I quickly realized that my early work was not very good. In fact I sucked. Some of my earliest posts were painful to read because not only were some posts poorly written, but they were short, with ill-fitting graphics.

'JURASSIC WORLD' REVIEW [SPOILERS] - IF YOU BUILD IT THEY WILL COME

I loved the original 'Jurassic Park' film, so I didn't care what the reviews were I was going to see 'Jurassic World' and that was exactly what they were counting on--brand loyalty. *sigh. Unfortunately, you can add 'Jurassic World' to the list of mind numbing, entertaining, idiotic, blockbusters. That said, this movie was so much fun to watch! And perhaps that's enough. It's summertime and this is a popcorn summertime film. I got spoiled with 'Fury Road.' I'm beginning to think that a movie like 'Fury Road' is truly a rarity akin to 'Gravity'--big budget, beautiful, smart and action-filled. I guess I better get used to the idea that most big budget blockbusters will not compare.

SAN ANDREAS REVIEW [SPOILERS] - 8 DISASTER MOVIE CLICHES

Thankfully I have a contact high from seeing 'Mad Max: Fury Road,' because 'San Andreas' is just your run of the mill Hollywood disaster flick.  'San Andreas' is not a bad film. It's just not particularly good one. It's in the range of "fair to middling." The film does have a few bright spots, but most of the movie gets bogged down in disaster movie cliches. Seeing 'San Andreas' reminds me just how fantastic and smart 'Fury Road' was. It was a rare treat for an action film. Since I can't review 'Fury Road' again, I guess I should actually start talking about 'San Andreas.' *Sigh.
